K-8 BT's and Teachers new to MCS, Social Studies, electives, Math and ELA . Student friendly, fun, interactive ways in which to teach vocabulary explicitly in the classroom. Teachers will learn how to incorporate vocabulary instruction into their daily lessons through hands on manipulatives and games. You will learn how to use vocabulary to preview/activate students knowledge, how to bring context to the meanings of words and how to review and reinforce what students have learned.
